I am Chair of Governors at a local secondary school, co-chair a charitable network group , give up time to educate young people at secondary schools in their relationships with money and raise money for local causes, especially those which provide support for the disadvantaged in society.
My passions outside of work include cycling, swimming, fishing and being out on the edges and moors of the Peak District.
As an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management, my service covers the provision of advice on Investment Planning, Specialist Insurance and Retirement Planning for individuals and businesses.
Based in Sheffield, I provide financial advice to clients locally (including the Peak District) and more widely (including London).
After graduating with an Honours degree in Science in 1984, I completed a Masters Degree in IT in 1986. I then joined HSBC and spent 25 years supporting Insurance and Wealth Management businesses.
In 2010 I joined Lloyds Banking Group, and at the same time commenced self-funded study for a Diploma in Financial Advice. I left Lloyds Banking Group in October 2015, completing my Diploma at around the same time. Following 23 examinations and the achievement of a second Diploma in Financial Advice, accepted an invitation to join St. James's Place Wealth Management in October 2016.
